Great Hockey Program for Individuals with FASD
They had 55 players who enjoyed a game, a practice or a road game each weekend from early October to mid-March.
The Komets provide girls, boys & young adults with physical, emotional and/or neurodevelopmental challenges with the opportunity to play the game they love...hockey.
The Komets are a member team of Special Hockey International and compete against teams from Ajax, Toronto, Newmarket, Innisfil and Cambridge.
The Komets have a significant number of players (boys, girls and teenagers) with FASD. They have knowledgable staff & personal who are familiar with the challenges that accompany FASD.
